is this mic any good?

I bought this MXL mic a little while back and just recently started recording with it. It sounds good except I kind of sound like my nose is slightly plugged when I play back. I was woundering if this is a good mic or if my mixer settings might need to be tweeked a little... And no my nose isnt stuffed when I record. Any mixer tips might help me. Thanks

You sure you're not singing into the back?

yeah im sure, i have recored on both sides of the mic and the manual also says to record into the side with the logo on it. but thanks though.
