This might seem like a very simple and stupid question to ask, but I record on a computer set up, and I'm wondering if I can eliminate the space between tracks, so they flow into each other. Is this possible to do digitally? Or would I need to output everything and make my own master copy, then have it duplicated in a different way? Thanks.

You can do this in Cakewalk's Pyro (and probably other programs but I only know about Pyro...I use Pyro 2004)...Looking at Cakewalk's website it appears that the feature you are asking about (cross-fades) are retained in Pyro 5 (Pyro 5 is a $29 download) where it describes makeing "seamless DJ mixes"....................Pyro was originally advertised mainly as a program for recording cassettes and records to the computer (I also own Pyro 2003 on another computer) but with each revisioin they have added features dealing with things like DVD, portable MP3 players, and ringtones...It has been called a "poor man's" mastering program because you can do mastering-type jobs with it (line your songs up visually, change the order of the songs, create crossfades, adjust EQ and volume to make songs more compatable with one another, add effects, and burn your CD from the same program.
