Yep, that's correct. You can easily tell by plugging into one of the good jacks. If it takes two "clicks" to push a plug in all the way, it's balanced (3 conductor). A single "click" will be un-balanced (2 conductor). Or you can just look at the internal connections and see if there are two leads (2 conductor unbalanced) or three (3 conductor balanced) going to the jack. Then just buy the right one to replaced it. Either way it'll be a less than $10 fix...even if you include the cost of a new coil of solderjmorris said:you can get that connector anywhere's Any Radio shack as stated. The bigger question is it balanced or unbalanced. You'll want to know and replace with same that came out.
