Sounds like a good start. Maybe one very nice mic pre.:D

Umm...this is for Rap..and yes i am by myself..this is NOT a band situation..

and Track Rat..

why would i need a very nice mic pre.?...and the Mackie (mixer) already have some mic pre's in it..

Delta Omni Studio $379 @ Musicians Friend instead of the 44 and the Mackie....youll get as many inputs, channel inserts, only 2 preamps as opposed to the 4 on the Mackie, but they are better than the Mackie and you wont need more than 2 anyway......

RNC-perfect choice

Event 20/20 monitors

mic - I suggest auditioning a few live before deciding.....a mic has to fit your voice....

Pick better monitors.
Pick a better mic.
Maybe pick some better preamps.
But, without a doubt, lose the monitors and lose the mic.
C3000 is $300... umm, try the NT1000 instead, or maybe go with a SP-C1 or AT 4033. If you want the vocals to be thier fattest, then a top notch preamp is in order.
Peace,
Paul

i was thinking about getting one of the akg c3000 mics, but all i can find is the b version.....anyone know anything about this mic....? a friend has the akg (alpha??)...sounds good enough for my purposes.
