im not too familiar with the korg t1 , somebody wants to trade me a korg t1 for my playstaion 2 and nes ..is this a good deal ? please if someone can fill me in about the korg t1

The T1 was the sucessor to the hugely popular M1 circa 1992 (or so).

It has more sequence memory and wave rom than the M1, but didn't sell nearly as well.

If you're a keyboard player and like the feel of the keyboard, then yes it is a good deal.

A very excelent keyboard controller. I would take up the offer if it was in good shape and I wouldn't give up the games, just the console. Then I'd go buy a new console. Street price on a T-1 I haven't reserched, but I would estimate the street value of anywhere from $250 up to $750.

According to www.prepal.com the average sale price is $820. Sounds like you're getting a great deal. The T1 is pretty cool but the polyphony will be limited compared to newer boards. As I recall it only has 16 note polyphony.
