Is there a "circular" preset on a rack unit?

Let us be unburdened by that which has been ?
I have a song, and in one section the words say "round and round inside the tunnel, one comes quick as I descend". Yeah, cheesey as it may sound, I was looking for a preset to give a 'circular' effect to at least the vocals, maybe more tracks, at this point. Haven't started tracking it yet, still building my new room, but any ideas on what effect may have a good preset to give a spinning effect? I saw the PCM 70 had a 'spin' preset and the PCM 80/81 seems to have something similar. I may rent something for a couple of days when I finally record it and mix. Just wondering if anyone knew of something that may work for this besides simple panning back and forth.

The only way I can think of to get a "spinning effect" with a stereo playback would be to combine panning with an automated reverb, and possibly EQ. Adding reverb, with a progressively longer pre-delay, will crate an illusion of distance. Cutting highs will reinforce this effect. Careful automation could create an illusion that the source is moving from speaker to speaker, and back and forth, hopefully, in a circle. All the transitions will need to be shaped carefully to eliminate the sensation of cornering.

try some auto panning type presets... along with maybe sliding the track in and out of time????

Too much reverb on the vocal could push it back in the sound field right when you're trying to make the point (and risks sounding a bit cliche, or over-thought)... have you considered applying the effect to a rhythm or lead instrument backing this passage in the vocal?
