Is the multiface really that good?

I've been doing some research as I'm just about to order myself a new soundcard. I was thinking about the RME-multiface, but then I found out it's converters are the AKM 4528. In other words THE SAME converters as Echo Mia and delta audiophile. On this board many seem to think of multiface as a step up from the delta 1010. How can that be if the convertors are the same as the Audiophile?

Routing possibilities, adat i/o, wordclock, latency,... are things that make a card good even if it's converters are the same as any other card.

And thats my next upgrade as well. The drivers are proven to be excellent, the latency is 0, ADAT, Dig.I/O, 8 analog in and 8 analog out, ADAT sync., word clock, midi in & out, 720 chl mixer with internal 40bit resolution, and a headphone jack, ASIO zero CPU load technology.
It's gonna break my bank account though :(
