is it worthy to get tascam foot switch?

just wonder since I ought already DP-24 maybe foot switch would be helpful sometimes?
BTW I have keyboard foot switch boss FS-6, would it work as well or better to get that tascam
RC-3F switch?
 
I have the RC-3F and love it. Although I ended up using it more on my GB-10 instead. Very handy to be able to start playback with my foot instead of bending over to hit the play button. - Bill
 
thanks, wonder though why tascam put not standard jack plug for this so boss foot switch will not fit.
 
Punch-in switches always come in handy for "hands free" punch-ins :cool:
 
BTW is that tascam foot switch requires also battery like a boss one?
