Hello fellow home recorders! i've been doing home recording for a while now and i wanted to get some opinions from others for this particular song. i'll actually have the mixing done professionally when the time comes but for now, i did my best. do u think the tracking on this song is ready to put on CD? if not, what changes could i make? thank u all...ben vega

The drums are the weakest link in this recording.The other tracks sound pretty good to me.Now onto the song.Christian Funk!

I really like it.I bet you're a stevie wonder fan too eh?Man this is some funky stuff.I love it.Excellent vocal work dude.I dont have any complaints....Im sure you'll get some good ears to give you better mix advice.I like the song so much that the mix doesnt bother me.LOL.

wow, it's great someone likes this kind of stuff! thanks. and thank you for your opinion on the drums. i'm not too excitied about them either especially since i'm used to playing with live expressive drums. i guess i'll have to replace the sampled drums with the real thing! take care...ben

Good to hear ya!

Good performances. The bottom lacks drive on this small system I am listening to. Perhaps it is the tiny sounding drums. Without them driving a little more one is almost tempted to turn up the low end a bunch, but then it gets muddy.
