I sit on you.
I know, I know. Some of you don't like either. Then don't vote....or post! :D
I'm really only wondering about in general.
e.g.- IC Hihat stand, IC Twin Kick pedal vs. Pearl Eliminator Hihat stand, Eliminator Twin kick pedal

I myself, prefer all Tama IC for hihat stands and pedals. However, I prefer Pearl drums to Tama drums!
Vote for your fave and tell us why you like it!

Tama..........there is no substitute

I have a 1993 Tama Artstar II. It is a limited edition. It is birdseye maple inside and out and amber in color. Sizes are 8, 10, 12 rack toms, 14 & 16 floor toms, 18x22 kick and an 8x14 birdeye maple snare with tube lugs and diecast hoops. The rack toms are factory rims mounted and the floor are rims mounted, but they are very unique. They still have legs, but the legs are not mounted to the drum they mounted to the ring and the tom is suspended in the ring. These drums sound awesome and they are MINT!!! I'll never part with them EVER!! I called Tama and they told me they are probably worth $3000-$6000 depending on condition. I got the drums and tuxedo bags for $1250. This guys wife wanted to send her kids to private school and I could tell she was wearing the pants. He had them listed for $3000 and I checked them out thouroughly and played it down tellin him I really couldn't afford the $3000 right now. He was like I started at $4500 and I'm down to $3000 nobody seems to have any interest in them. I offered to another guy for $2500 and he wasn't sure. His wife walks over and asks me if I have $1250......I said yes and she says " he'll take it". My lucky day!!! Sorry about rambling it's just a beautiful kit.!! I use a IC double kick pedal and just love it's response. Have a great day!!

This is one of those times where I like to say, "SCORE"
That's a real steal.

Neither

I had a hard time picking, when I bought mine, but I went with the DW 5000's over the Iron Cobra...$100 dollars off the floor model.

I used to like the DW 5000s a lot. But it got really expensive because I would break one of them every 7 months. I've had the iron cobras for 3 years without a problem. I'm looking into Trick Drums' new pedal.

The only pedal I found that could compete with the IC was the Axis DB pedal. But, the prices on them babies is Nuts!

Yamaha Flying Dragon Double Kick Pedal

personally i like my Yamaha Flying Dragon Double Kick Pedal. i found it way easier to play faster and harder with it than the Iron Cobra. except the fact that i need to fix it cuz im dumb and didn't keep up to date with my maintenance on it.

Haha, that's just it. You actually have to "maintain" your Yamaha pedal! :p

I prefer the pearls. I bought iron cobras a few years ago, then I traded with a friend who prefered the iron cobras and I wanted to try out the pearl eliminators and I loved them. Its all preference, try out which one you like, dont take our word for it.

I have a single belt drive elim. I think it's pretty sweet, and friggin smooth. I chose it over the IC because I got it for $50 less. But I can't really say I've tried the IC. Yeah, get the one you like the most. Damn it's late.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know, I own/use an IC DB pedal... :p

yeh i just bought a iron cobra 2 weeks ago but i like my flying dragon better. i think im gonna return the iron cobra and buy another flying dragon and use my old one for replacement parts if i ever need any. its the most comfortable and light and easy to use pedal for me.

Here is a very, very good thread on this subject!

I use Iron Cobras BTW. But the Eliminators are a very good pedal. As you'll see in the above thread... DW's are a BIG gamble.
I use DW 9002 It kicks ass, I've never broken a foot board, but have had to have a few of the universal joints replaced(under warrenty). Previosly I owned a Pearl eliminator, and after a few years its hinge wore out (the pins would wobble out). I am not a fan of that pedal even though the have supposedly "fixed" that problem, they also feel too light. I guess its really just personal preference but I like a heavier pedal. DW 9002's are also easier to adjust the cams, springs and so on. If you have not owned one you don't know how good they feel.

DW HARDWARE>everyone else

That Biatch on the pearl site had sooooo many post, what about playing
