This system consists of two 18"sub cabinets and two 15"mid/high cabinets, horn-loaded.
I bought it about a year ago to use for a weekly big band gig I mixed at a venue with no system of their own. They have since bought their own system. It was used once a week for maybe eight months, and stored in the venue (not rattled around in a van).
I have modified the input panels on the back of the subs to take a biamped signal on 4-core speakon, and feed the tops on 2-core. The stock Eliminator system is a full-range system. I then auditioned alot of amps, and settled on a Thomman 1500W T-Amp for the subs, and a Solton 1000W for the mid/highs. This improved the sound alot.
The crossover is an Ashley 3-way/2-way active rackmount unit which sounds fantastic. I recently tuned the system using this crossover, the aforementioed amps, an analyzer and pink poise generator.
I am selling with the amps and crossover flightcased, cabled together neatly, with a simple I/O box on the front of the flightcase. Included are two long 4-core speakon cables and two 2-core speakon cables, as well as two short speaker poles which reside between sub cabinet and mid/high cab if needed.
Here's a pic (not mine)
I am looking for 2500Eur Ono for speakers, amps, crossover, flightcase, i/o panel, cables, and poles. I have done a fair bit of work to make this system sound great, which should save you some time (matching amps, tuning, i/o mod etc.) if you are looking for a serious gigging rig, or a small to medium PA hire system.
I am located in Waterford, Ireland. I am occasionally in the UK and often in Dublin, Cork etc. if anyone wants a demo.
Cheers,
Nathan
