Hello all here at Home Recording..
I just got the IO26 in the mail today. Hooked it up with my laptop and everything seems to run smoothly.. except that annoying static on channel 5! And sometimes on channel 6. But on the 5 it´s constant. I readsomething about a ground loop involving the laptop and the IO26 and I quickly restarted the system with the laptop runnin on battery and nothing changes. At some points it gives me these really heavy peaks on those two channels. Those peaks don´t show on the LED indicators but on the monitor software on my laptop. I don´t have anything connected to the inputs. Anyone with ideas?
