For some reason, after I save a session and then later try to open it, a window pops up that says "Interpret Sample Format As".... and lists the sample rates, mono/stereo, and resolution; basically the same window that pops up when you begin a session. This pops up for every track and it can't be dodged or canceled. The tracks are then put into the session only to be all loud hisses. I'm recording in the proper sample rate and resolution and this doesn't happen on any old sessions- those are loaded just fine when called up. This just happens on the new ones. HELLLLP!!!!!!

Looks like you're having issues with your temp files. Can you record a new track, and save it as a wave? Or will any of the tracks from those faulty sessions, open in Windows Media Player or in Audition as a wav?

I'd dump your temp files completely, maybe even reinstall Audition or Cool Edit. See where that gets you.
