Hello,

I haven't been here in some time....I've been busy putting to practice all the good instruction from everyone here at Home Recording.

Here's a sample of what I've learned so far.

No matter what you may think of the song, style or my mixing abilities, I'm very proud of this work since for me it represents the best that the internet has to offer and that is the opportunity for artists to collaborate over long distances sometimes with people the have never met.

I'd like to thank Emeric and Shailat for their work on this long overdue project.

And I'd also like to thank Home Recording for being here.

Jeez I didn't mean for this to sound like a Grammy acceptance speech.

Keep Tracking!

Good sound. Nice recording. Thought the backup git was to loud after about 2:30 of the song. Pretty well covered up the snare completely toward the end.

Good vocal and instrumentation. You know... the only real gripe is that the song is 4:17 long.... you've got 3 12 to 15 second bridges...and the other 3:30 of the song is the B & E groove. I mean that 1st and 4th groove can get old unless you get really creative with it. That's just my opinion though.

Again.... it is a good sound and good recording.

Rusty K,

Great tune, Man! :)

I love the funky groove you guys put together for this.

Really nice definition in the sound clarity and I actually like the hard pans on the instruments that lets the listener concentrate more easily on the player of their choice.

Very cool, indeed!

Cheers! :)

You have every right to be proud of your work here. I'm telling you, that was fun to listen to. Sweet Hammond organ and guitar, great voice, I think a song like that is as fun to listen to as it is play it.

And the recording was well done too.

Thanks for listening.

I appreciate the input.

Yes it's a long one. I'm used to playing dance music in bars etc. where you can stretch out a bit. I think it could of course be cut down but with tracks recorded thousands of miles apart and sent on CD's via snail mail you work with what you have.

I'll give her another listen and try to get the snare out some more.
