I own a 424 MK III and a 414.
Are there "internal" effects on these machines?? Or do they just have the capability to use external "pedals"??
If they are internal, how do you use them???
My manual is not clear and I get no help from TEAC.

No eternal effects other than channel eq. Use the effect sends and returns for adding external effects. If you're still cloudy on how it works, it's not too complicated. At the top, there are 2 jacks for aux1 and aux2. Send either or both of those to your effect input. Return from your effect to either stereo input 5-6 or 7-8. Set your effect to fully wet if it has such a setting. adjust the amount of signal being sent to the effect with the channel effect send knobs. Set the effect switches to the right. Hope that helps.

You will need an exterior fx processor there is no way around it with the 424mk3

Can you tell me where I can pick one of those FX processors up?

I get most of my gear from either MARS or GUITARCENTERMARS GUITARCENTER
However alot of guys here like to buy from ebay which my be cheaper. THe first one I bought was about $100 new. It all depends on what you need it to do.

Saying "... one of those FX processors ..." is a little like saying "... one of those guitars ...." There are tons of them that are different in various ways and cost various amounts.

A random suggestion: Lexicon MPX100 (they may have recently replaced this with a slightly upgraded model ... I'm not sure). About $200 or so, new.

You can buy a variety of different FX boxes at pretty much any large music store (brick and mortar or online), as well a pro sound dealers, eBay, classified ads, etc. I'd suggest doing some online research, rather than just walking into a store and saying "tell me what to buy."

I would like to find an FX processor that will give me the ability to add "Reverb" to individual tracks.
Do you have any particular suggestions?
