Is there a way to set up internal busses in cubase? For example in pro tools you can send audio to a bus and not just an effect. In pro tools, one could set up his own MS decoder. Can we do that in cubase?

yes we can :)

Its in the manual.

you can create busses by pressing F2 i think ,if not its F3 or F4 i'm sure its one of them.

just create stereo or mono bus in the pop up window then rout your tracks there.

I hope that helps,i have Cubase on my other H/D so i cant tell u exactly how to do it right now.

Right-click -> Add track -> Group track.

You can't do M/S processing the way you think you should, but it's doable. Duplicate the track, reverse the L/R channels, phase invert, mix to taste.

Cubase can do pretty much everything Pro Tools can, some things better than, other things not so much... w/o being tied to hardware that costs an arm and a leg.
