interfaces. advice needed

hi everybody, i'm looking to buy a soundcard. I don't need a lot of imputs, just something to plug an external mic pre amp into (avalon vt737sp) and a key board. I want very good quality but i'm not trying to pay more than 350.

My advice: Delta 1010LT. Affordable, good quality and very compatable. You don't need alot of inputs and this thing isn't overloaded with them. You already have a good mic pre and the delta doesn't really have any onboard pre's so you're already set with that.

I'd go balanced if you really don't need the I/O's...

Echo's MIA would be in there... E-Mu makes one I think... M-Audio has a 4 or 6 balanced I/O also that would probably fall within that category...

if your looking for the best quality and only need 2 channels

lynxone is the only way to go, its a lil more then your budgent new ~$450 but you may find it on ebay cheaper
