Interesting Mic...

Hey guys. I was just wondering if any of you have ever had experience with the mic offered in this auction. It seems like the guy is trying to oversell his own product but I honestly do not know. I am looking to pick up some cheap SDCs so do you think these are worth a shot? It will probably all be subjective if no one has ever used these though. I bought 2 when they were $99 and like 'em a lot.

I bought 1 in the 90s...it rattled inside...I dont think they are very good quality...and they are assembled about a mile away from here in Lenexa Ks...all the mom and pop shops carry their line.

It seams a little high in price but keep looking around for deals.
What you might want to look for in a SDC mic is the features of pad and roll off.There are many out there and the prices vary depending on what you have to spend and it's always best to get a pair of SDC mics.
I'm sure many here will chime in on what they've had luck with.
For me I like my Shure SM81s and particularly my Shure KSM 141s that can be changed to omni.

Ive only used a few different SDCs but the ones Ive had didnt do the job as well as some of the medium diaphram mics...the pad and roll off should be on your preamp so if that might cause you to eliminate choices.
