Hey All,

I'm mainly looking to record for people who want to layer down guitar tracks for their projects, solos or rhythm, in various styles (pop, blues, metal, funk, punk, rock, hard rock etc etc)(except jazz, which i'm ok at, but not super proficient).

I can take on 1-2 projects a month.

I live in Israel, so you'd have to send me the mp3 file and I will layer down the tracks in mixcraft, and send you the raw files + mp3 files via email so you can arrange them in any way you like, with any program you'd like.

I'm doing this for free, I only ask for credit in the recordings.

contact me via PM or email, at Ang3lus123@gmail.com

here are a few samples:

Are you offering to MIX people's tracks? "layer down" tracks doesn't really mean anything. And no one should be mixing with MP3s, too much loss to start out with.

not mix, write guitar parts for the song, rhythm/solo/ambient guitar/percussion guitar/whatever fits the song.

i will send the files of the mix in any format mixcraft can export

Hello Ariel,

I find your playing to be quite exceptional. You will have a tough time finding people that want a guitar player to do what you do on their personal recordings. Most members here take pride in making their own recordings, and wish for themselves to be the shining star of their production.

That being said, I might have a track for you soon.

Mixcraft huh? Isn't that limited to 16 bit rate? :(

Correct me if I am wrong please..

Thank you for the kind comments Jimmy.

I write/play stuff that fits the song, I don't go all-out blues in a pop song and won't play distorted chords on a folk song.

I don't mind reocrding in anything other than mixcraft, anything other that is preffered ? cubase ?

I will be happy to receive a track from you to work on :)

Here man. These guys are recording here now and had a fallout with their guitar player. They are looking for a new one to finish the record. In fact, they really are not looking to find another guitar player in town. Just want to finish the 11 track CD and find guest guitar players to play local shows now and again.

These are wav files. 2 songs. One version of each with the old guitar player, one without guitars. The mix is by no means finished, but gets the idea across. One has a cue for where the solo starts, but the guitar player asked not to present any of his solo work. The other song is quite obvious where a guitar solo should be.

This band also fired their drummer months ago, after tracking most of the record. He couldn't play with a click track. The new drummer (my drummer from back in the 90's) came in and played to the other guys tracks. You will hear a bit of timing fluctuation, but surprisingly it actually seems to work. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't suck. Kind of retro 90's sleazy rock for lack of better terms...

It should give you something to mess around with for a bit. Feel free to introduce your own style. No need to duplicate what the other guitar player did. This aint guitar karaoke. Have fun man! :)

I could care less what you use to record if it sounds good. Just send me back wav files.

Jimmy

Oh, the bands name is World Famous Johnsons.
