Illuminatius Overlordious
This is the first recording of this tune - going to record again tomorrow but I think Ihave the basic sound I am looking for. Lemme know what you think.

Your drum sounds are getting better. Still the hats sound a little distant compared to the toms. Kick could probably come up some. Snare sounds snappier. Others can give you more drum advice...I'm still really new at drums.

Bass seems like it needs more definition and to come up a bit.

Vocals sound good. Push them to the front a bit more (just a bit).

Guitars sound like an LDC close miced? I'd double track the guitars, bring down the distortion, and work on the high mids, and high end of the guitar some. They are also a little muddy, not too much, so maybe the low mids need some EQ...or mess with the micing to see if it can fix the guitars.

Getting better and better!

The main guitar (s?) seem a little loud to me. If you take down the guitars, drums and vocals will probably come up. Small change...Good rockin' tune. :D

Love the song. Your last few songs have been really good to me. I like the lyrics and arrangement. Very simple and full of energy. Like it.

The recording is kind of a mess. It sounds like a demo of an early 80's punk band in a garage. That's cool if that's how you wanna sound, but it can be much better and still be full of power and fury. I'd strip it down and focus on the drums first. The kick and bass are lost in a mush and the snare sounds distant and lifeless. Get them popping out more. The bass needs more definition and seperation from the kick. The guitars are aggressive, which is good, but they're really harsh and fizzy. I'd work on your tone more and mic placement.

But again, cool song. I'd like to hear it sound better.

Lots of potential but it is all a bit muddly.
Drop the loud ditorted guitar & see if you can rebuild.
Get the drum & bass locked in & sounding good then you should have a solid base for what sounds like it'd be an ace song.

I'm in the mud group. I get the energy and I like the singer and the words. Sounds like a transistor radio mix.

Sounds like the bass performance might need to be tightened up a bit. Drums are kind of off sometimes, too. I like the song, though! The mix is a bit muddy, but all in all, I think it's an improvement. Keep it up!

Excellent song! Though, main guitar riff is destroying your sound.
Try to retrack the riff with no distortion on guitars. Try some mild crunch or combine crunch with clean.
Experiment with 2, 3 or 4 guitars with different octaves, clean, crunchy etc.
You'll find something that sounds good.
