Insulation Board

I've been wondering about insulation board and whether that might be used in studio construction at all? The density is higher than the rockwool type stuff as it is more like a thick board. Whether that helps at all I'm not sure. Anyone have opinions on this?

I have a comment - however it is not opinion - it is fact.

The only value that material has is for insulation.

It is useless for either isolation or room treatments..........
