Classical guitar, right? It's a little "boomy" sounding. I like acoustics to have a crisp edge, and it tends to be more difficult with nylon strings to get any definition from the play (especially arpeggio). It's not a bad piece, held my interest. It's a little more muddy sounding then I think you're looking for in a final product. What type of mic are you using? Are you micing the sound hole or the neck? Pickup?

actually its a yamaha acoustic... and the boominess is prolly due to the mic being placed faced the soundhole about 6' away... and would it surprise you to know the mic is just some no name knock off that i got for free somewhere.. of course there is an uprgiht bass in the mix as well which would add to the boominess.. this is a couple of months old...and since then i've bought a new condesor mic.. just waiting on the preamp . ordered it last week... nonethaless thanx for your time

I'm enjoying the song, but the guitar sound is very "muffled." What mic and pre are you using? Sounds like that's the culprit, although the room may be playing a role, as well. There are definitely some boomy spots for both the guitar and bass. I like the arrangement of instruments.
