instrument def file

Thanks for the information I tried it today but I had some problem I did receive 25Mb of info transmitted from the drum machine but that is as far as i got I will fiddle again tonight.
Thanks

I have another DUM question

Can sonar process the actual sounds that are produced by my Keyboard or only the sounds from the internal Synth

I play my kenbord through the midi interface to sonar but the sounds I hear from my keybord speakers are different from what I hear from my sound card can someone explain I know It maybe a dumb question but I realy dont know
belve thanks

25MB sounds more like a sound font than an Instrument definition file. Two completely seperate things. Check c7's link above and this one. The definitions you load into SONAR so it knows how to recognize they way your patches are organized on your drum machine.
