This assumes that they're both on the same IDE bus. If they're on two separate busses, then they should both be set to master.

I know that.

FYI- ALOT of drivers wont work on 64, and many programs don't work *right*. Ive only been able to be successful getting RME and MOTU drivers to work. The others that are available from most other companies just dont work, whether or not they say they do. x86 is the 32 bit application folder.

People REALLY need to research before deciding to jump to 64 bit. Theres ALOT of incompatibility still.

yeah 64 was a really dumb choice.... i got it for so cheap .. thats why i really wanted it

i also heard that if you're running 32 bit and you want to upgrade to 64 bit you have to delete everything and reinstall widows.. i wonderif this is true if you wanted to downgrade from 64 to 32???

how about just going with a minimal set up for now.

only plug in your system drive and one CDROM.

get the OS on there, and then play with it.

scratch that post, good luck with your 64bit issues now.

lol yeah .. i think i blew 50 bucks... im gonna have to buy the 32-bit version

how cheap can i get it?
