I recently picked up a SoundBlaster Live! Value for cheap, pulled from another system, and installed it as a second sound card in my computer. I did this in order to explore Sound Fonts.

I downloaded the drivers from Creative, but I couldn't find a copy of the Creative Launcher. Is there any way I can access the Sound Font technology without the Launcher software?

Thanks for any advice!

I think most current versions of multitrack software have Sound Font support; I know SONAR does, and its predecessor, Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, did...

The program "AudioHQ" from creative is really more important than the launcher for being able to access the soundfont management utilities of the card.

Duh. It hadn't occurred to me to check my multitrack software... Home Studio 2000 has a sound font support under the Options tab. Thanks for pointing out the obvious!!!
