I have a newly built computer.Im trying to install the pci 424 software.It will be the third computer it has been in. Its instuctions always say to install from "run, then type in set.exe. or it wont do a complete install. I've always done that but on the new computer when I tr to do that I get a message "windows xp setup..please go to comtrol panel and install and configure system components". Anyone have any clue why I can install from "run". Any help would be great! I did go to control panel and then to add/remove programs and installed the software but dont want to do that everytime.
