I installed Ivory II American Concert D on PT m-powered 8. It sounds very good! I installed it logged in as administrator and I had it up and running great fairly easily. I played it a good bit and everything is great. I logged out as admin and logged back in using my user name and opened pro tools. I opened the Ivory II plugin in a session I have been working on, and I don't remember exactly what it asked me word for word, but Pro Tools asked me where I wanted it to look for the files for this plugin and I obviously didn't choose the correct file. The plugin opens up fine, but there are no keysets, presets, or synths available. Basically it's just a blank plugin. It still works great logged in as admin though. I guess I selected the wrong file, so how do I change where PT looks for this plugin under my user name?

I know with the air vsts there's a .bin file stored somewhere that you can move if you run into trouble.

Hmm. The simplest thing might be to reinstall logged in as normal.

Reinstall worked...I installed all seven discs of the software for the third time and ran an update from the synthogy website. After the first install, I had a serious latency issue. The second install fixed that. Then, there was the issue where the plugin would only work when logged in as admin. The third install fixed that. Not sure what caused this, but it works great now, and this piano sound wonderful.

Glad to hear it, and thanks for letting us know.
You'll probably find the libraries install to /users/***/library/, where *** = current user.
You either want that to match the user account you plan to use, or be a common/shared directory.

The chances are your current user account doesn't have permission to access users/admin/library/, or whatever the original install location was.
Either that or the program just looks in the logged in users folder and the files weren't there.

Silly computers.

You are right about these silly computers part LOL. Or maybe it's silly me? It seems that one problem leads to another with these things. Sometime during the process of getting the Ivory software running, I allowed the pc to restart with three or four windows open in internet explorer. Mistake! That killed it under my user name and now internet explorer only works correctly when logged in as admin. Oh well, I'll fix it somehow. At least Pro tools and all of my plugins work right now.
