Inquiry about Express 8 Gold

Does anyone know about Cakewalk Express 8 Gold? Someone wants me to try out this software. I already have Guitar Tracks II. How do the two compare? Thanks for any help.

Guitar Tracks 2 will do everything that Cakewalk Express does and more. Guitar Tracks 2 is a slightly crippled Pro Audio 9. Cakewalk Express is a more crippled Pro Audio 8.
