input on what I have for mixing

So I get that mixing with headphones is not the way to go. I just got me some Behringer ms40'[s near-field monitors.They say these are nearfield monitors but they have a bass and treble knobs on them. So are they going top be ok for mixing? Does any7one have any experience3 with these monitors?

I don't think you can get anything of real 'recording studio' quality from anything sold at Walmart! These are good for computer listening, but will be painfully inadequate for good mixing. Like any other speakers used for monitoring, if you learn how they sound, you can learn how to mix with them.
