Hi,

Well i have two problems. Everything sounds fine but the problem i have is when I turn on input monitoring to hear myself play through my headphones it is late. When i turn input monitoring off and play something and listen to it back it sounds fine. But anytime i turn on input monitoring to hear myself play it is late. the other problem i have is when i listen to something back (through my Delta 44 with the headphones in the 1 slot on the outs) i can only hear it out of the left side. I dont know what to do ive tried installing the new drivers that didnt help. i tried messing with the latenecy buffer size and that didnt help. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Billy

I forogt to say that i am running sound blaster live along with my Delta 44 im not sure if this is something i shouldnt do or if its fine.

You need you latency to be under 10 ms (I would say 5 ms) to use Input Monitoring. Higher than that will produce a 'delay'... Adjust the latency in Options -> Audio. Also set the Latency buffer in the Delta Control Panel to a low figure, and run the Waveprofiler in Sonar (also under Options -> Audio). :)

The outputs on the Delta are probably mono sends. You would need a female stereo plug to dual mono male to hook up a set of headphones to it. I don't have that card so anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.
