Initial test of transmission loss

Let us be unburdened by that which has been ?
Well, I've got an initial wireup, at least of the DM Pro drum kit, set at levels of an acoustic kit, and not bad on transmission. If you have followed my progress of building my recording chamber, you'll know that I did a double-inner-decouple-wall system, floated a concrete floor, but left the roof structure uncoupled but installed a Home Depot "Hushboard" which no one was really familiar with, including yours truly. My other weak points were using a wall unit AC and a metal with stuffed (yeah, I know, God only knows what it is 'stuffed' with) door. So what I give are not electronically tested results, but practical "ear" results. No significant sound coming from the walls (yeah, I kind of expected that one with concrete block as an outer leaf), no audible sound and very little vibration coming from the roof (I stood on top of the roof and had someone play the drums while up there), very little but evident transmission from the door area (I installed a 32" door metal door with "foam" core as per the manufactuer), and more noticeable TL from the AC wall unit, even though I packed everything as tight as could be. I think the latter is just the fact that wall units require air intake, and there is a minimal, at best, audible barrier, though physically there appear to be no leaks. No test equipment, but the ears don't lie. Now I have to say, I had the levels set inside at a volume not comfortable to the average person's listening level, and still after that the volume TL through the wall unit AC was probably cut down to about 20%, but that was the weak link. Do I intend to reach 100% and engineer it further I'm sure most of you are asking? Absolutely not. Again, it is a small bleed of sound and actually surprised me in the initial test...I expected much more volume to bleed through to the outside. But then again, I have decoupled walls, a floated floor, 5/8" gypsum board, etc, so I guess all of the advice I was given here in this forum (Rick, I hated you at first but thanks for pushing me in the right direction :) ) paid off. I've taken pics but I'm not happy with them. I'll take more when I get round to it. Moral of the story is, build it right, or close as you can to it, and I can personally testify it works, at least on the transmission loss part. I am preparing to order the last of my bass traps (back wall) and have 4" foam on order to complete the back wall (if you remember I went with 2" Auralex 'Metro' in a 2' OC striped pattern on the sides of the walls, and a 4'x6' area of the same behind the board and my monitors). So the all-critical interior is almost up to par waiting on parts (and finace :o ), but thought I'd pass along the transmission loss results (tested by ear only).
Thanks for all of the advice you all gave me when I started last June, no matter how "tough love" it may have seemed to me at the time. :) :) :) :) :)
