Just another guy, really.
Looking at one. Found some info on HR about Calrad in general, but othing on the DM-21.

Anybody?

It came out around 1965; imported by California Radio (on La Brea in Los Angeles). It sold new for $12.95.
Specs (as I recall) were 40 Hz to around 12 KHz, Sensitivity was -62 dB at 1 KHz, and it was dual impedance. Made in Japan, and a rough copy of the EV 665.

Is the coil potted in tar?:D

Thanks, Harv, I should have known you would have the skinny. Are they good to have, now? Like, maybe a niche mic, or are they a good overall mic?
