Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 10? Other then a boatload of money I mean.
I used Sound Forge extensively five or so years ago and loved it but I just couldn't justify $300 for a copy of the latest and greatest and decided to just live with whatever constraints existed in Sound Forge Audio Studio 10.
What constraints?
The 'bargain' version of the application is absolutely just as awesome... and in many ways even better... then the 'full blown' app I used in the past. I don't doubt that Sony is throwing in even more bells and whistles to justify the cost of their 'full blown' versions but for pure bang-for-the-buck Sony's Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 is GREAT*!
Incidentally my Intel i3 processor just chews through the shit. I no longer have enough time to go get a cup of water while Sound Forge works it's magic... heck... I don't even have time to scratch my... eh... never mind.
