Seems like it, but the nice thing about Craigs list is not everybody is as savey as alot of the ebay guys.

If I only had the cash I'd buy it and keep it.

i definitely have found this to be the case-- especially when you're in a big music area. here in the nyc area, there are dozens of listings a day and crazy deals all the time-- i saw a distressor for $750 once (sadly couldn't get it) and bought a rode nt-4 for $200 not too long ago. i dug the mic, but responded to a classifieds wtb ad for a guy in europe who was so geeked to buy one, that he offered me the high going ebay rate ($330) for it a couple of weeks later. i also see things like digi 001's go for $175 or less all the time and other goodness.
by contrast i was at my girlfriend's family's place in bloomington, indiana for a few weeks over the holidays and there were less than 10 listings for musical instruments the whole time i was there.
 
Yep, CL is great. I got a beautiful U89 for $750. Man, I couldn't give the guy the money fast enough. :D

awesome! the craziest deal i saw was someone who was selling his whole setup (all really sweet stuff) for like 14k and he priced out the pieces. he had a purple mc76 there for $650. i must have emailed him like 10 times to no avail. :(
