Improvments

Hey guys im new here. Im a guitarist and iv ebeen recording alot of home recordings int he past years. I know i need improvment. All of my drum tracks are from a drum machine so dont laugh lol. Can anyone please give me some tips or improvements on my stuff. The link to some of my songs is http://www.myspace.com/markpmusic. Kry and Dove are the newest songs. Thanks guys. Currently im having a pain with the bass eq i cant seem to get it form getting lost in the mix, but with reading some of ur posts ive fixed it a bit.

BTW if you see 3 posts of this its cuz i had trouble finding the mP3 clinic lol.

haha that sng "Dove" is a wicked old version, sry man im changing it now. I did a newer version and added strings which made it alot fuller, finished the songs cuz that was a demo and make the ending alot lower. It wil be on soon.
 
The interesting sound of the bass in the intro to Kry doesn't survive during the frenetic playing. You'll need to do something to it so that it has some definition in the riffage.
I like the structure & dynamics but I don't like the guitar effect/distortion - it doesn't match the creativity of the rest of the track.
 
Thanx. What effect ont he guitar do u mean? ANd ya im remixing the guitar cuz i liked one sound but now i hate it.
 
i know hwat im doing better with the instrumental aspect but im just starting to get into mixing vocals. How do they sound?
