I've downloaded E-Phonics retro delay to use with either Audacity or Wavosaur. How do I import it or get the GUI to show up in the host software? I've not used VST plug-ins before so I need help here that's pretty basic to get me started. Thanks in advance.

If its just the dll file and doesnt require installation then you just drop it into your vst folder...if you dont have one already the make a new folder in your c/program and then there should be a preferences section in Audacity that you can direct it to scan for vst's

i dont know wavosaur but you used to have to install this vst bridge to get vst's running in Audacity

...might be different now as that was a few years ago

and if still having trouble...
make sure the host is closed when you copy/paste or install the plug-in.
use right click 'run as administrator' to copy/paste or install, and when opening the DAW the next time.
This usually gets around Window's helpful UAC process.
