I'm a UK resident and I'm upgrading from a Yamaha 16-track to a computer based recording set up and a 24 track desk.
After a little investigation I think I'm going to get an 8 i/o soundcard - not sure which one yet - and then get another at a later date so I have 16 direct recording channels.
Would it be worth taking advantage of the weak dollar and buying an interface (or two) from the states?
What soundcard would you guys say is the best value?
