I just got my BR-800 and layed down a track. Now I'm trying to get it on my computer to master it and all that good stuff.

Is there any way that I can import the rhythm arrangement that I made on the BR-800 onto my computer so i can master it with the other tracks?

Thanks for any help.

Forget mastering, what you're describing is mixing. Anywho, the BR800 acts as an interface too. Meaning you should be able to plug it in via USB to your PC. If that doesn't allow you to transfer the files you need, maybe you can save them in the SD card in the BR800 and transfer them to your PC.

I've got the 3 audio tracks that I recorded onto my computer now as .wav files. That part was pretty easy. I need the drum beat now though and that's what I'm having trouble with specifically. The file converter it comes with doesn't allow me to import the rhythm as far as I know. Same with the rhythm editor. Sonar/cakewalk I really have no idea how to use yet but I don't know if that would be able to do it either. I could transfer all the files from that song on the SD card onto my computer but they're all .BR0 files and I don't know what to do with them in that file type.

Since the BR800 is a portable recorder, I'm guessing there must be a way to render the file as a wav. or at least an mp3 in the unit ?

You need to be clearer. Drums are no different from anything else IF THEY'RE AUDIO.

Are you trying to import a MIDI file? What? What is "the drum beat"? What type of file? From where?

Are you talking about the BR unit's inbuilt drum machine / metronome?

Have you recorded it as a track, in which case you should have no issues as it's just another audio file?
