I own a Cakewalk Sonar software sequencer. I have several Mp3's which I've saved into RealJukebox. But I'd like to take some of these Mp3's and import them into my sequencer. I know that Sonar has an "Import Audio" option, but I don't know how to get the Mp3's into the folder from which I can import the data into the sequencer. Any advice? Thanx.

If you can find the import audio option, you are almost done.
Highlight an audio track in Sonar then just click "File > Import > Audio > browse & open the mp3
It is just like opening any other file in windows. What is the confusion in it? Hope you will get it in no time. :)

Save your music in wav. format if you want to import it into Sonar. I only use mp3s to upload songs on the net, or when i have to save space. If you want to import your files into Sonar as mp3s, then make sure that you are encoding your mp3s at 196khz for good sound.

Thanks for your replies. I guess the problem is that I don't know how to get the Mp3's from Kazaa, where I download them, to the file from where I can pull the Mp3 into Sonar using 'Imput Audio'. They have been getting saved automatically into my RealJukebox folder, but I don't know how to pull them from there and send to Sonar. I'm sure it's a pretty basic function, but I'm computer illiterate. Thanks.

In Jukebox there is an option to Find audio file or Open Location or something like that.

You mention putting it into your sequencer but you will only have an audio file. Not a midi file.
