I have been using Fruity Loops for drum tracks on my recordings to give to my bandmates. Once I import the exported .wav file and insert it into a new Cool Edit Pro session it is fine. Then I record instrument tracks and vocals, BUT...If I want to change the drum track I make the changes and import back into the existing Cool Edit session with all of the other tracks it is totally screwed up....the tempo is always different, it may say the tempo in Cool Edit Pro is 139.5 and in Fruity Loops it is 140,...is there some way to combat this problem?.....It only seems to happen AFTER changing the drum track and importing into existing Cool Edit Pro session after other tracks have been recorded.

Please Help!!!....

Thanks in advance

I bung Fruity tracks into Cool all the time and that never happens.

What bitdepth and sample rate do you use in each application? Do they match?

fruity drums

You know,...I'm not sure about the bit rate,....that might be the problem,...I'll have to check that....if it is a different bit rate, will that effect the importing file?
