After staring at the computer screen 8 years, my eyes ain't like they used to be. Getting somewhat near sighted I guess.

RECOMMENDED:

Look away from the cpu screen every 15 minutes and focus at something across the room to rest your eyes. It has to be accross the room to train your eyes to focus at a distance.

I noticed that when I was driving one day that freeway signs in the distance where blurred. And then I went to a Burger King and the darn menu behind the desk was blurred and i had to squint. :( I always had perfect vision. So, I tried the exercise above and now it's much better. Not perfect yet, but getting better.

Just like ears fatigue, take care of your eyes and give them a rest.

Just thought it might be a good tip for you producers and mixers looking at that screen hours at a time.

Yeah a little too late for me...I have to use glasses when I'm at my comp. But this helps anyway.

for those of us w/ desk jobs... yes, this is important. which reminds me... i'm stepping away for a few.

Man. Sorry to hear that. I cought it just in time...

I always paid attention to how I typed and where the mouse was so I didn't get carpal tunnel. But, never thought about the eyes. They never tell you about that...

I'll remember this once I get Lasik. My specs are always on...unless I'm taking pics.

Thanx Wax
