Me too. I'm working on a new one. It lacks meter, rhythm, rhyme, and form, but I think it's got potential. I could use a little help with a humorous chorus. What do you think?

21st century evolution
Human anatomy a billboard for anything
Ink under the skin, lose that virgin beauty.
Turn yourself into a monster, don’t fight it.
Intellect lost, emotions abound, no anchor for sanity
Another day in the life of the creature called man
Not sure when, not sure why,
But they took the stupid pill, and all one can do now is cry
Addictive and permanent its effects
No hope for this 21st century man
Tortured all the daylong
Noise over the speakers in restaurants and stores
They call it music, but it bares no resemblance to such art form
A thousand and one ads per minute trying to convince me I lack something
The many on TV called pundits
Would be last century’s idiots
I saw a British man teaching schools in England about healthy eating
The children learned and were glad.
Then he attempted to educate the children in America
Fool he was thinking they could learn anything.
He showed them that what they ate was poison
But they did not care. “It tastes good,” they said.
Everyday in the city, a new rape, murder, teen shooting another teen
Kids beating retirees to death for the change in their pocket
Groups murdering people for fun.
Police on the take, committing fraud, a pretended raid on drugs
Who could possibly have invented Meth, or use it, a poison that literally cooks the brain?
The banks stealing everybody’s home’s, their paychecks stolen by inflation
The people are stupid and don’t know why things are this way.
The pundits told them it’s the "other party’s" fault.
No moral compass, it’s a free-for-all.
Those who get raped and murdered, just unlucky.
Those who starve, should have been more diligent at filling out additional welfare forms.
Those without jobs need to steal the earnings of those who have
Justice, an old theoretical word that has no place in this 21st century.
It’s now 2011. I don’t want to see the coming decade, for I already have.
The idiots believe a smart phone makes them smart
The annual cost to use it is almost $2000. But it’s more important to own than learning, that’s why they drop out of high school, and learn the trade of murdering and stealing. Their parents did the same thing.
They believed the lie when they were told terrorists were invading them
They traded away their rights and freedoms to be monitored, surveyed, recorded, and archived
Oh, I don’t want to see the next decade come to past, but I already have.
I’ve been watching the evolution of the morally-free man.
