Im so confused

Im thinking about getting a cakewalk gome studio 4 but im a bit puzzeled. I cant figure out how to get the guitar and vocals ont he computer. I dont kno if it comes with an input for it or theres somewhere to plug it in the the computer im workin with a windows xp please post with some help.
