Hi I am trying to install my Yamaha YPR 30 using midi to usb.
I have the input in the out put, and the out put in the input. Window's insist on installing a generic driver. I altered the policy, and it does not do it for any device but this one, and keyboards, mice, and the like. I've read up about having to many midi slots -10. When ever I deleted them in the registry Microsoft reinstalled them. Yamaha themselves said it was the solution. When I uninstall the slots, it will work. One I unplugged the cable, then plug it back in windows adds a new slot. So I tried to install yamaha's driver, but I got error 25001.
Please help, I am using cubase, trying to record folk-hop.
