GUYS,

In your opinion, do you think a room 12x10 would be big enough for a
large 13 piece drum set & mics to record it ?

Sure, i fit my 5pc, with a 3pc rack cage w/13 cym in a 9x8 room.

My room is 12'x16' and I've recorded double bass kits with 4 rack toms and two floor toms, 4 crash and two china boys, rides and a couple of snares. WAY too many drums but what the hell, it worked.

I fit my 8 piece set with 10 cymbals and all of my mics and mixer in 7' x 8' of floor space and I'm in the midst of constructing an 8' x 10' isolated room (real tight!). Sure your room will work, but it will be far from ideal. Get a set of REALLY good isolated headphones or at the least wear good ear protection, cause you'll go deaf otherwise.Don't play with naked ears. Those of us that live and work in small places or apartments just have to make do with what we've got, I empathize.
