I'm New Here

Hey guys im trying to record all my music by myself (one man band).
I dont want a multi track mixer, mbox and that other equipment. I just want a mixer.
WAIT! Could I plug a digital multi track recorder to a mixer and then get a usb audio interface such as the Berhinger U-Control UCA 202 into the computer.

So can someone please explain to me on how to record a one man band!

If I understand correctly, you want to connect a multi-track into a mixer then record into your computer from there?

If so, what's the point of the multi-track? Surely you could just run your mixer straight into the computer? (Via an interface of course)

You'd do well to get a good handle on this stuff before you spend a bunch of hard earned $$$ on stuff you may outgrow in 3-6 months.
