Yo ALL:

Just plugged in and listened to my KRK ST8 passive monitors.

Well, I'll tell you {all}, I loved my Yorkville passives. But, the 8 inch woofer of the KRKs and its newer technology made my Yorks an item of the past.

I know there are many "superior" monitors out there; but, considering I paid a few dollars "less" for the KRKs and considering how mellow they are, I'm Happy.

Appreciate the expertise of Blue Bear who told me I'd enjoy the KRKs.

I do enjoy the rich and clear sound of the ST 8 KRKs.

Well, I don't know what I'll buy next; however, for the next few months, I'll enjoy the KRKs.

Heh, heh, heh: Yeah, I tried that line back a few years ago and my "rich" girlfriend ran off with my drummer.

The KRKs ran 194.00 [plus shipping] = As I recall, my Yorks ran a few dollars more. Right now I'm listening to Rod Stewart tracks through the KRKs -- simply delightful. I would imagine that the Adams monitors, and others, are also very, very delightful.
