my step-mom is doing this audio book reading thing and in order for her to post it on this one website, they want her to have some light music in the background of each chapter intro. it's just gotta be really light, generic background music. anyone know where i can find some royalty-free stuff for this?

Give me an example of the type of music you're referring to by naming an artist, song or just pointing me to an example and maybe I can help. How many chapters? Length of each sample clip? Depending on the time involved, I might be willing to create some samples for you.

that's a sample of someone else's book. they just want something very simple to begin the intro. i'm just looking for a website that has random backround clips like this. if i don't find one, i might just write a generic progression in reason or something. i dunno.

There are plenty of pay sites to obtain royalty free music (eg. www.royaltyfreemusic.com) but as far as not paying anything, I don't know. You may be better off trying to create something yourself.

Google a guy named "Gary Lamb", he has a ton of royalty free music.
it's pretty light also.

hope this helps.

.peace.
