I have posted this on other forums, but just thought I'd gloat here too!

I just scored some Calrec mics so, so cheap!

2x CB20c's with CC50/cardioid caps for £10 each
1x CM1051c for £10

Plus 2 more CB20's of which the bodies don't work, but the caps are fine for £10 for the pair! I'm going to see if an EE friend can fix them, but if not, the caps are there as spares and well worth £5 each! If I'm really lucky, they may even be the alternative omni caps?

All together this comes to £55.87 including VAT and P&P!!!! I almost paid this for one of these mics last year! Yee Hee!!!!!!

Way cool!

I'm feeling good about grabbing a mint ATM25 for $45USD off eBay. Couldn't hit the Buy It Now button any faster...

:D

You can't beat this:...

[2] Tascam PE-150's + clips, AND...
[1] Shure BG 5.0 mic, in...
[3] Zip-up mic pouches
=======================
TOTAL= $65 + s/h, [$72 complete]

I just don't think you can beat that!;)

Here's the pic:...

I really think I scored on this one!
Only $65 + s/h!
Check it out!;)

Mr. Funk,

I'm glad that you and I can share in our joy this evening.

As a matter of fact, I happen to be in a similar boat as you. When I went to the coffee shop this morning, they had day old bread, which I was able to score for about half of it's original price ! !

All I had to do was scrape the mold off, and it was fine.

I love bargains.

Are you comparing the Calrec to stale, mouldy bread?

These mics are still produced at Hebden Bridge (slightly different electronics) and the original Calrecs can be serviced there too. They are £199 & £230 new and both the new and old models are well repected mics and I think for £10 a piece are real bargains!

I have taken your comments on-board though and think I will turn down the Urie 1178 I have been offered for £200, as it is just mouldy bread after all! :)

:D Look, dude. I'm just happy to have scored some cheap bread, that's all. So I figured I'd let you and every other chat board on the entire world wide web know about it. :D

Seriously, I am sat at home bored, waiting to go on holiday on Tuesday to your lovely country and so I tend to post all over the place to kill time! Mind you, it was this web surfing/time wasting that scored me the mics so...

Anyway, I didn't realize posting the same thread on different boards was frowned upon? I see it all the time and it never really bothers me. Sorry to those it annoyed?
