Hooray!

I actually went to that site yesterday, I was looking for the studio plans, but since I always close down popup-windows, I didn't see the online university! :)

Some bugs though... press on Absorbers and the top meny is the one for effects. :) Ah well, not your problem anymore, eh?
 
I CAN'T FIND IT!!!

I went on the site but I didn't get a pop up window and I clicked on everything on their site, but couldn't find the link.

Nope, unfortunatly the link doesn't work, and it did say ...audioglossary... but it still didn't work.

Can you tell me what links to click on from the SAE main page?
 
Tekker, the first time I tried John's link yesterday< I did get a small pop-up for the free online uni.............went to the site, and added it to favourites.

Unfortunately, as you have found out the pop-up window now seems to be stuffed.

I can get to the site from my faves list, but not from the SAE link in John's post nor from the link I posted a while ago. Damned if I know what is happening. Hopefully John will have time to sort these things out before he goes north for the winter.

Yeah sorry guys, I don't know what is happening. I got a popup the first time but it's not there now.

Maybe they realised as regebro noted that the menu system was incorrect and are busy fixing it as I type......NOT !! :D

Just another quick point

for those of you that like to try and use internet explorer (I myself being one of them)

Then for the sae.edu site, it replaces the www.sae.edu with it's IP address...

Anyway, sometimes, if you try typing in www.sae.edu/freeonlineuniversity/
it doesnt work, because the ip gets messed up or something, so, what i've found to be the best thing to do is,

type in www.sae.edu
get the ip, and add to it /freeonlineuniversity/
it's just a small fix.

While i'm here, I'd like to add a small complaint about the SAE, they really dont have a link on theyr website for the free online university. I dont know whether this is delibarate or not. Knowledge should be free, it's the actual teaching of it that should cost.

Anyway, enough of my crap for now, I must carry on with Revision for finals... Analog and Digital filters tommorrow... how appropriate... anyone know how to synthesize a 3rd order butterworth filter?

I liked your index page better, and I don't really like the pop-up/close window script ... but beggars can't be choosers, eh?
It's cool that they're keeping this info free ... but it is kinda hard to get to. Oh well, I'm sure will be seeing the link on every other post around here :) so here it is again ...
